HISTORY
Neva Plantations LLP was established as Neva Plantations Pvt. Ltd. Initially in 2008, which started its first Biotechnology unit through Plant Tissue Culture laboratory in Gopalpur. Neva Plantations was producing potato tubers upto 2012. Company was supplying the potato tubers and Lilium Bulbs to other parts of the country. After that Company has started to produce Low Chill Apple Plants. These plants are produced through Tissue Culture technique and developed the hybrid apple plants, which are very much suitable for less colder climate. Apple Fruits started harvesting in end of May till 25th June. Company keeps on supplying planting material to CSIR-IHBT, various panchayats and to many small and big growers throughout the state especially in the warmer areas of H.P along with various states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and earned the trust of the growers throughout the years.
Innovative Blueberry Cultivation
Seeing the high demand of blueberries which is also known as “Super Food”. We imported a few varieties of blueberries from Netherlands and USA in 2019.
With the technical support from Netherlands for the first time in India, we started propagation of quality blueberry plants in our tissue cultured labs successfully. After this, we have standardized the cultivation practices of blueberry in the company and in summer 2023, we are doing successful production of the blueberry plants raised in our own Plant Tissue Cultured Lab. Now, we intend to train the local farmers/cultivators, so that they can adopt this highly profitable cash crop.
We are also now offering various varieties of blueberries, some of them need only few chilling hours so that the farmers/cultivators through the country can be benefitted irrespective of the weather conditions.
